The tee shot on #9 is tight, especially when playing it from the back tees.  Balls hit down the right side tend to carry into the rough.  Aim middle-left for the best result.

When attempting a long approach shot, it is a must to carry the "Church Pew" bunker.  Also, avoid the left side for fear of a green side bunker and the "Valley of Sin".  Smart players cheat to the right so that missed shots remain in the short grass.
